Faith. Fellowship. Worship.

The Cornerstone Of Spiritual Life

Worship is at the heart of life at St. Mary's Episcopal Church—the place where our faith is nurtured and our community is formed. Through the beauty of traditional liturgy and the energy of contemporary praise, we gather to grow in faith, connect with one another, and experience God's presence in meaningful ways.

We celebrate the Holy Eucharist throughout the week, both in person and online, offering a variety of worship opportunities, including traditional and contemporary services, and a weekly healing service. From worship within our walls to carrying the sacraments to those unable to attend, our worship flows outward, sustaining every ministry we share.

Traditional Worship Service

Rooted In Reverence And Tradition

Rooted in the Book of Common Prayer and Anglican tradition, we offer both Rite I and II services. Sunday Rite II services are accompanied by organ and piano and our choir singing the liturgy and classic hymns. Acolytes, lay readers, worship assistants, a verger, ushers and the work of the Altar and Flower Guilds fill the Church with the rich traditions of our Anglican faith.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:20

  • Formal liturgy with Scripture readings and Holy Communion.
  • Hymns accompanied by organ and choir.
  • A reflective, contemplative worship experience.

Contemporary Worship Service

Spirit-Led. Joy-Filled. Community-Driven.

Our fastest growing service blends the Anglican liturgical tradition with a less formal style and sound. The Praise Band complements the reading of God's Word with contemporary Christian music, and the joyful sounds of children fill the air as they depart and return from Sunday School. Families, including children, serve as worship assistants, and every child is invited to participate in celebrating the Eucharist.

Whether in-person or online, our worship services express our love of God and God's love for us!

  • Contemporary music led by a live band.
  • A relaxed, family-friendly environment.
  • Relevant messages that connect faith to everyday life.

Online Worship

Worship Without Walls

Putting our innovation and flexibility to the test, the COVID-19 pandemic brought about a paradigm shift in how we worship and minister. Thanks to the foresight of our leaders, the technical infrastructure for an online church was already in place, including our three-camera system in Ross Hall. With a few adaptations by our talented digital team, all of our worship services went online at the start of the pandemic - and all of them remain available via streaming.
