It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to the believer’s faith in the final resurrection of the dead.
Baptism is a symbol of our commitment to God and we welcome not just the young, people of all ages to be baptized in our church.
Holy Matrimony is the joyful union of husband and wife in mind, body, and spirit.
St. Mary’s has a wedding policy through which members may be married in the church. Non-members may also be married in the church, as long as the couple has membership and connection at another church or Christian faith community.
Of course, our event hall is open to all, and there is no membership requirement to celebrate a reception in our Pittenger Center hall.
St. Mary’s has a policy that any person or family may have a funeral or memorial service at our church.
