‘”For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” ~ Matthew 25:35-36

If you or someone close to you is need of a visit from clergy or communion brought to the home, please contact the office or call 772-287-3244.

At St. Mary’s we have a variety of ways of reaching those in need.  If you feel called to volunteer for one of these ministries please contact Deedee Nice or Fr. Steve Fregeau.

Lay Eucharistic Ministry

Each Sunday, visitors take Holy Communion from the church out to those who are sick, homebound, or unable to attend services.  This is a powerful ministry.  If you or someone you know would like Communion brought to the home, please call the office at 772-287-3244, or contact our coordinator Peter Pignataro.

Hospital Visitation

A friendly face can make a big difference for someone who is sick or recovering from surgery.  If you or someone you know is in the hospital or rehab, please contact the office or call 772-287-3244.  A member of the clergy or a lay visitor can usually be sent out that day or the next.

Health and Wellness Ministry

This group is devoted to helping raise awareness for healthy living.  They host lectures, exercise classes, and other events.  If you are interested in upcoming events or would like to join the planning group, please contact Eleanor Hanley or Fr. Steve Fregeau.
